Health Care

 

Health care must be made nonprofit.  Without this, it is more profitable to make one feel better without healing them than it is to actually heal them.  It is more profitable to treat symptoms than causes, because then you have to keep coming back.  Anytime people can profit off of your health you should be worried. 

 

How bad is it?  Sadly, over 970,000 people in the U.S. die every year due to drug-related causes.  This makes drug prescription the leading cause of death in America.  Reference

 

We have to heal this tragedy, and get back to a more natural, holistic, nonprofit-based health care.

 

The Switch to Nonprofit

We need to make our health care institutions and companies Nonprofit.  That means everybody gets paid fair wages, but no one gets rich off our sickness. 

 

When health care goes nonprofit, and there is no profit in keeping you sick, the only goal can be to heal the patient.  Health care will be based on eliminating the causes of illness and promoting lasting wellness.  This will improve our health and lower our health care costs dramatically.  It will be good for everyone.
